Designed for Multan’s Harsh Climate Conditions
The fare collection and passenger information systems for the Metrobus line that entered service on January 24, 2017 in Multan, Pakistan were provided by our business partner Asis Elektronik. Within the scope of the project, 21 TVM-500 Outdoor Ticket Vending and Card Top-Up Kiosks designed specifically for the Multan project were also commissioned and began operating.
The special TVM-500 model, designed for Multan’s harsh climate conditions, was made entirely of stainless steel. In addition to accepting banknotes and coins, the TVM-500 Outdoor Ticket Vending and Card Top-Up Kiosk, which can sell and top up cards, can also give change in coins.
In addition, the smart token dispensing and formatting unit designed specifically for the Multan project checks the smart token before it is handed to the customer and, if the token is not encoded correctly, directs it to a separate compartment and dispenses a new, error-free token.
As with all TVM-500 models, our kiosks with high-quality components and advanced design features continue to serve successfully in Multan’s harsh conditions. 44 P10 LED Smart Bus Stop Displays, specially manufactured within the same project, also operate in the field together with our TVM solutions.
